An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to lead our Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service team covering East & Mid Ross and Nairn.
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Team Leader who can provide strong clinical leadership, advanced practice, and effective day‑to‑day service coordination. You will oversee local drug and alcohol recovery team staff, delivering recovery‑focused, trauma‑informed care across a broad rural locality.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing professional leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff
Managing a specialist caseload of individuals with complex needs
Delivering advanced clinical assessment, decision‑making and non‑medical prescribing
Leading quality, governance, service improvement and workforce planning
Working in partnership with HADP, Public Health, Mental Health, primary care and third‑sector organisations
You should have:
Current NMC registration (RN Adult or Mental Health)
Degree‑level qualification and relevant post‑registration experience in drug/alcohol recovery practice
Non‑Medical Prescribing qualification
Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
Full UK driving licence
