Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, warm and friendly professional with a passion for the hospitality industry and ensuring that guests are well looked after overnight.
1. Engage in a handover process with the day staff at the beginning and end of shifts
2. Close front gates at the end of the day and re-open them the next morning
3. Conduct security checks around the hotel throughout the night, including walking around the property as well as monitoring security cameras
4. Tidy and clean the guest areas
5. Collect breakfast order sheets and send to F&B department
6. Complete any guest requests such as shoe-shining and night menu orders
7. Run end of day reports and distribute them to Heads of Department
8. Prepare billing for guests due to check out
9. Organise and prepare billing for any newspaper requests
10. Conduct any requested wake-up calls
11. Provide information to guests as required
12. Assist with guests’ luggage if required
13. Keep the reception area clean and tidy
14. £ per hour
15. 16 hours across 2 nights per week, plus the opportunity to provide holiday cover for staff
Qualifications
16. You will be an excellent communicator and listener with a creative and positive attitude and the ability able to address any of our guests’ requirements
17. You will hold a full driving license and be able to assist guests with parking their cars, when needed
18. Strong IT Skills (some experience of Opera Front Office System is desirable)
