Meridian Business Support is seeking a dedicatedRegistered Managerto lead a childrens home in Burnley, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in line withOFSTEDregulations. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, promote a child-centred approach, and drive continuous improvements to enhance the lives of the children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and management to the home.
* Ensure compliance withOFSTEDregulations and quality standards.
* Lead, develop, and support a team of care professionals.
* Implement and oversee care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Promote a culture of safeguarding and emotional well-being.
* Manage budgets, resources, and operational responsibilities effectively.
* Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.
What Were Looking For:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare(or willingness to work towards it).
* Proven experience as aRegistered ManagerorDeputy Managerin a childrens residential setting.
* Strong knowledge ofOFSTEDregulations and quality standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the home.
