Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, ensuring efficient scheduling, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of production management principles, as well as experience with ERP systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
* Collaborate with various departments including operations, supply chain, and productiont to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products.
* Analyze supply chain analytics to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste through lean production practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate materials are available for production.
* Prepare reports on production performance metrics and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
* Assist with processing of inbound spare parts.
Experience
* Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing/production environment is essential.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain management tools is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of lean production principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Knowledge of operations management.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to supply chain performance.
