What's involved with this role: Job Title: Night Shift Maintenance Engineer Ref: VLA 5266948 Pay rate: £16.69 per hour PAYE Role length: Anticipated 3 months Working hours: Either 8pm to 6am or 9pm to 7am The role: As a Maintenance Engineer you’ll be working on nightshift as part of a team carrying out planned and preventive maintenance tasks, carrying out plant checks and working on a pre-planned jobs list. This temporary role could potentially become a permanent role. Key responsibilities: Complete nightly engineering checks such as, fire-watch checks, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors) Complete work orders / requests and report defects Reactive to breakdowns Looking for process improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant What the client is looking for: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable Previous experience in a similar role How to Apply: Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
