Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
2. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, focused learning environment.
3. Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement with lesson content.
4. Liaising with teaching staff to ensure smooth handovers and effective lesson delivery.
5. Acting as a role model and promoting the school’s values and expectations.
