Job description
TEAM TEACH Teaching Assistant
Are you a qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with behaviours that challenge?
I am currently recruiting for a SEMH school in North Birmingham who are seeking to appoint a very strong teaching assistant to join their team.
The school are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of working with challenging behaviour as you will be working with pupils of all ages who have been excluded from mainstream school. Experience in a similar setting is vital for this role.
The school care deeply about both their staff and children and pupils are doing very well and making progress in all areas of their development.
I am looking for a teaching assistant who can bring energy and passion to this role. An experienced teaching assistant who has worked in challenging environments is essential. This is a challenging but rewarding role, therefore, patience and resilience is critical.
This is my fourth year working with this school and I have placed over 70 members of staff here on short and long term assignments.
Everyone that I have sent to this school has thoroughly enjoyed it.
One teaching assistant has said "the centre I worked at was amazing. I really got on with the head teacher and they was really supportive. The class sizes are very small but there's a lot of staff members so there is always help and everyone gets along very well".
I am very keen to talk to teaching assistants who are interested in working for this school.
