Redmore Environmental is looking for an ambitious Principal Air Quality Consultant ready to take the next step in their career, or a Senior Air Quality Consultant who’s ready for promotion and new responsibilities.
You will work on technically challenging land development and infrastructure projects while contributing directly to the growth and direction of the business.
Our vision is to be recognised as trusted leaders in air quality consultancy, delivering expert advice and the highest standards of service. We combine technical excellence with a collaborative environment where every member of the team contributes to the success and direction of the business.
This role offers genuine responsibility and influence. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of complex projects, develop technical leadership and contribute to the long‑term growth of the company.
Why This Role is Different
Redmore Environmental is an independent consultancy where individuals have real influence on projects, clients and the direction of the business.

Collaboration and knowledge sharing are integral to our work
Staff are actively involved in shaping the company’s future
We believe the best results come from combining expertise, teamwork and a shared commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients.
The Impact You Will Have
You will lead and deliver technically demanding air quality and climate change projects across the land development sector. You will also play an integral part in the development and growth of our southern team.
Your work will influence planning outcomes, support major developments and help clients manage environmental constraints effectively.
The role will involve:
Managing and mentoring junior consultants
Winning and resourcing consultancy projects
Managing and delivering air quality, greenhouse gas, climate change and odour assessments
Dispersion modelling of road traffic and odour emissions using ADMS
Providing technical input and quality review
Managing personal and team projects from proposal through to delivery
Building strong client relationships and supporting business development
Projects will range from simple Construction Dust Assessments to complex multi‑source Odour Assessments and large‑scale road vehicle emissions modelling.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months you will:
Contribute to technical and team leadership
Build trusted relationships with key clients
Win, deliver and manage complex land development projects
Support the development of junior consultants
Play an active role in the continued growth of the business
Who Thrives in This Role

This role will suit someone who:
Enjoys solving complex air quality challenges
Wants to take ownership of projects and client relationships
Values high technical standards and attention to detail
Enjoys working collaboratively within a specialist team
Is motivated to develop both technical expertise and commercial awareness
We take pride in delivering high‑quality work for our clients and expect team members to take accountability for their work while supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering high‑quality work and who hold themselves to high professional and technical standards.
What We Are Looking For
At least five years’ experience in UK air quality consultancy (more or less experience considered)
Experience delivering air quality, greenhouse gas, odour and dust assessments in a consultancy environment
Strong experience in dispersion modelling of vehicle exhaust emissions using ADMS
