Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager (6 months FTC)
We are seeking a Pensions & Payroll Finance Manager to join our finance team in Hemel Hempstead.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Transactional Finance, you will provide accurate, timely financial information and guidance to the pension scheme Trustees and serve as a key contact for Trustees, Pensions Secretary, Payroll, and Finance teams.
This role offers the opportunity to influence how finance is perceived within the company and to demonstrate the value of proactive, forward-thinking management information.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing Pension Scheme Trustee Reports & Statutory Accounts: Completing reports and financial statements in compliance with SORP.
* Completing HMRC Returns and ONS Surveys: Ensuring timely submission within deadlines.
* Managing Financial Transactions: Overseeing transactions, documentation, posting, and maintenance of pension scheme accounts, including investments.
* Providing FRS102 Calculations: Delivering annual financial statement calculations for companies with investments in the scheme.
* Managing Life Insurance Schemes: Handling management and renewals.
* Financial Accounting for Payroll: Ensuring accurate payroll accounting, reconciliation, and compliance with deductions and payments to HMRC and benefit providers.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience in pension scheme accounting is essential.
* A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
* Comfortable interacting with stakeholders, auditors, and professionals via meetings, calls, and written communication.
