This role is based primarily in Basildon with occasional travel to scheme offices in London.
What you will do:
* Monitor and interpret card scheme publications and regulatory updates, assessing platform impact and priority.
* Undertake reviews, testing and monitoring to validate end‑to‑end compliance with scheme requirements, policies and procedures.
* Manage the central scheme document repository and distribute scheme documents and awareness to wider Fiserv teams.
* Liaise with Pricing to communicate scheme fees and pricing changes and coordinate the Compliance review forum.
* Analyse card association documentation and client requirements and produce clear business requirements for platform change.
* Support multi‑platform reviews, client migrations and component implementations to ensure compliance‑by‑design.
* Investigate production anomalies and scheme data issues, coordinate remediation and support incident responses.
* Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders and maintain accurate compliance evidence and reporting.
What you will need to have:
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced reporting capability, including Excel and structured reporting.
* Working knowledge of card scheme rules, message formats, transaction lifecycle and chargeback workflows.
* Experience conducting compliance reviews, gap analysis and preparing evidence for assessments or audits.
* Excellent stakeholder management with clear written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Ability to manage document repositories and coordinate distribution, tracking and version control.
What would be great to have:
* Familiarity with processing platforms such as FirstVision, MAS or Base24.
* Knowledge of EMV, tokenization, 3‑D Secure, PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA or regional regulatory frameworks.
* Experience supporting client migrations, product releases and platform change delivery.
* Prior involvement in scheme investigations, forensic reviews or audit management.
* Hands‑on experience with project and tracking tools (Clarity, Jira, Confluence) and compliance governance frameworks.
