Overview
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Food & Nutrition Technician to join our Creative and Technology Faculty. The role involves delivering engaging practical lessons, supporting students and staff, and inspiring the next generation of chefs, nutritionists and food scientists.
Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient, safe and well‑organised technical service to the Food & Nutrition department
* Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons
* Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients and learning spaces
* Ensure high standards of health and safety, including risk assessments and equipment checks
* Contribute positively to the wider ethos and day‑to‑day life of the school
Qualifications
* Experience as a Food Technician or willingness to learn and develop in the role
* Good subject knowledge alongside strong organisational and communication skills
* A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team
* A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students
