Senior Simulation Engineer – Systems Engineering
Newton Colmore is working with an instrumentation manufacturer in Cambridge, assisting them in their search for a senior simulation engineer.
This is an exciting period of growth for the company, which works on several product lines, from state‑of‑the‑art airport scanning technology to highly confidential RADAR systems.
Responsibilities
* Build and test physics‑based models at the edge of what is possible.
* Model and analyse complex systems using MATLAB/Simulink, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and designers.
* Apply deep engineering fundamentals to problems that directly impact people’s lives.
Qualifications
* Strong domain knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, ideally applied to systems engineering.
* Experience with physics‑based modelling, model‑based systems engineering, test bench development, and code revision.
* Curiosity, adaptability, and optional knowledge of signal processing or Simulink HDL.
