Admin Assistant. Office based. Self-employed role @ £135-140 per day, (£32,000-35,000 pa.) 5 days pw. Similar role to Document control. To look after all the site relevant paperwork. Good communication & IT skills essential. The role is based at offices in Uxbridge and does not involve site-based duties. Working for a Consultant.
Duties and responsibilities:
Policy, Procedure and Communication for all site relevant documentation:
To look after the paperwork and transcribe AI generated site reports, site meeting notes and client meeting reports into Microsoft word.
* To ensure that documents are in the right location and categorised according to the type of document. Involves checking and approving documents before filing to ensure that documents contain correct and understandable information
* Need excellent organisational skills and to be familiar with effective filing. Must have the ability to monitor and evaluate systems and to look for improvements
* Good communication skills are important
* Specifics of the role include:
* Access the issued drawings via intranet sites for latest drawing revisions
* Printing drawings and specs
* Archiving files in line with data protection and disaster recovery policy
* Binding, Scanning, copying and filing
Experience and skills
* Typing and IT skills to an appropriate standard are essential in relation to software for digital communication, correspondence, reports, registers, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, other document preparation and control (MS Office, Word, PPT, Excel, Access, Word, Document Control Software similar to Asite, Conject)
* Organised, capable, friendly and helpful character required
* Ability to work on own initiative and seek assistance when required
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met
* Good contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions
