Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Develop and deliver production plans and schedules with cross-functional teams
Maintain smooth production flow, resolving issues quickly in a fast-paced environment
Ensure all schedules meet On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery expectations
Quality Control & GMP Compliance
Ensure all products meet GMP, regulatory and company standards
Monitor quality performance and implement corrective actions
Support Lean Six Sigma, RCA and quality improvement activities
Team Leadership
Support the hiring, training and development of Production Operatives and Team Leaders
Promote strong communication, accountability and continuous improvement behaviours
Contribute to coaching and performance management processes
Resource & Efficiency Management
Manage labour, equipment and materials to maximise output and minimise downtime
Support OEE improvement and efficiency targets
Work closely with engineering and planning teams to optimise workflow
Health, Safety & Compliance
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
Promote a strong H&S culture and GMP best practice across the team
Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing
Identify and implement process improvements using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work)
Support CI projects and structured problem-solving
Track and verify sustained improvement
Manufacturing Scale-Up & NPD Support
Support scale-up of new products from development to full production
Understand formulation, process requirements and equipment capability
Assist with validation, optimisation and documentation
Experience Required
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma, 5S, CI or process improvement methods
Experience working to GMP or similar regulated standards
Ability to work to KPIs, OTIF targets and structured production plans
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Experience leading, supporting or coaching teams in a production setting
Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality
