Associate Town Planner
Location: Winchester (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
A growing boutique planning consultancy in Winchester is looking to appoint an Associate Town Planner to join its expanding team. Working closely with Directors, you will take ownership of a varied caseload across residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments, managing projects from initial appraisal through determination and appeal.
Responsibilities
* Manage varied caseload of residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments.
* Prepare and submit high‑quality planning applications.
* Advising on planning strategy for a range of development projects.
* Lead and manage appeals processes.
* Maintain client relationships and provide expert advice.
Qualifications
* MRTPI‑qualified planner.
* Minimum five years post‑qualified experience in consultancy, local authority or a combination.
* Strong report‑writing skills and commercial awareness.
* Experience managing appeals.
* Experience in boutique consultancy and knowledge of the South East planning landscape is advantageous.
