Job Description
Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) is seeking a Repairs Supervisor to join our Service Centre. The Service Centre is responsible for repairing, modifying, and testing a wide range of products and systems, providing innovative solutions for our customers.
Job Purpose:
* Manage and lead a repairs team.
* Oversee holidays, sickness, timekeeping, and discipline to ensure continuous production.
* Collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to deliver monthly plans.
* Monitor team performance using KPIs.
* Manage labour bookings and review them regularly.
* Hold daily team meetings to review progress and address issues.
* Assist in creating shop order paperwork, including route cards.
* Close completed shop orders and manage stock movements.
* Support quality issues, triage, MRBs, and related paperwork.
* Scan completed paperwork into the company's MRP system.
* Maintain a 6S and FOD program within the team.
* Identify skills gaps and maintain a skills matrix.
* Coordinate with support teams to manage non-conforming materials and repair issues.
* Ensure safe use of equipment and machinery.
* Justify overtime in advance to the Service Centre Manager.
* Perform other duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications/Experience:
* Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role leading a small team.
* Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
