Are you an experienced scheduler, planner, or project manager with a strong background in repairs and maintenance - or do you come from a trades background with hands-on experience in disrepair work looking to step off the tools? Do you also have a solid understanding of legal disrepair processes? We’re looking for a Senior Repairs Coordinator to join a great organisation within the Social Housing sector. This role is a vital part of the team addressing damp, mould, and property disrepair issues, supporting the lead surveyor in coordinating and executing a variety of complex projects.
Role: Senior Repairs Coordinator
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Responsible for overseeing cases from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, deadlines, and internal policies and procedures.
Coordinating inspections, managing schedules, and ensuring that contractors and in-house teams complete works within agreed SLAs
Acting as the go-to point for escalations and liaising with customers, legal teams, contractors, and other internal stakeholders
Leading admin and scheduling functions within the team, supporting colleagues and promoting a high-performance culture
Helping improve service delivery by identifying ways to streamline processes and improve customer outcomes
Strong understanding of legal disrepair cases and the processes around them
Good understanding of general building defects, including damp & mould
Experience in social housing or a related sector is desirable but those with a trade background is also welcome to apply
