Senior Pharmacy Homecare Business Officer

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a secondment/temporary contract for a Senior Pharmacy Homecare Business Officer to work within our Medicines Homecare team. You will work closely with a team of experienced technical, professional, and administrative staff to maintain and develop high standards of Medicines Homecare for patients with long-term and complex conditions who receive their medication at home.
You need to be highly competent in purchasing or financial processing tasks, with a meticulous eye for detail, and able to efficiently handle large volumes of work within tight deadlines. Experience in a busy financial environment is ideal. The role involves liaising with clinicians, clinical pharmacists, nurse specialists, and external homecare and pharmaceutical companies.
Main duties of the job
The post holder's primary focus will be to support the financial and business management of the Pharmacy Department and Trust by providing general finance and purchasing support to the NUH Pharmacy Homecare team and supervising all aspects of homecare financial administration. The role requires work across Trust-wide locations, including QMC, City, and Treatment Centre Homecare offices.
Medicines homecare involves the dispensing and delivery of ongoing medication supplies by a third-party homecare provider, initiated by the hospital and delivered directly to the patient's home with their consent. This service enhances patient care, offers treatment options, and provides greater convenience.

Experience
* Experience working in a business or office environment
