We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Skilled Machinists to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing team based in Broughton. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the most technically advanced and vital parts of an aircraft - the wing structure - within a high-precision production environment.
As a Skilled Machinist, you will be responsible for precision machining of aircraft components to exacting standards using CNC and manual equipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of the final aircraft product.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture aircraft components from various materials.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, and work instructions.
Carry out precision machining operations to tight aerospace tolerances.
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and high-quality standards.
Identify and report any non-conformance issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work within strict safety and quality control procedures in accordance with aerospace industry standards.Candidate Requirements:
Full Apprenticeship in Machining or relevant discipline.
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience operating CNC and manual machines in a precision engineering or aerospace environment.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
