Assistant Project Manager
Shape how engineering projects are planned and delivered, working side by side with technical leads. Build structured schedules, influence delivery decisions and grow into broader project leadership across the full lifecycle.
What you will need
• Sole British nationality
• Demonstrable hands on scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar planning tools
• Experience working directly with engineers within engineering or research and development environments
• Ability to build and challenge project schedules collaboratively
• Willingness to work on site in Weston-Super-Mare
Salary
£40-45K
What you will be doing
• Partner with lead engineers to translate technical activity into structured, sequenced and realistic project plans
• Develop and maintain accurate live schedules that reflect true delivery status
• Interrogate schedule data to identify slippage, emerging risk and delivery pressure points
• Contribute to reporting, risk management and cost visibility as capability develops
• Support continuous improvement of project processes and controls discipline
Your experience
• Experience supporting technology development or engineering lifecycle projects
• Confidence working across scheduling, risk and reporting
• Exposure to adaptable or fast moving delivery environments
• Ability to influence technical stakeholders without formal authority
• Clear communication skills with both engineers and senior stakeholders
