First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Parts Advisor and behalf of one our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Van stock replenishment
2. Issue parts to workshop and engineers
3. Taking incoming parts requests and enquiries calls
4. Parts returns to Parts Dept.
5. Stocktaking
6. General housekeeping
7. Identification of parts
8. Parts ordering
9. Sourcing of parts
10. Assist with quotations
11. Problem solving (incorrect parts supplied etc.)
12. Checking parts booked on job sheets ensuring that stock is promptly replenished.
13. Assist with Parts filing
14. General administration for the Service Team
15. To perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time within the scope of your knowledge, skills and ability.
Skills and Qualifications:
16. Excellent PC/system skills
17. Parts Department experience/ knowledge
18. Excellent telephone manner
19. Strong administrative skills
20. Strong interpersonal/communication and organisational skills
21. Methodical
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £26,000 – £28,500
