Operator (Machine / Baler)Location: Evanton & Invergordon, ScotlandWorking Hours : Monday-Thursday: 7-3:30pm and Friday 7-2:30About the RoleTradebe is looking for a reliable and motivated Operator to join our Industrial Scotland team. This role is primarily based at our Evanton site, with occasional cover required at Invergordon.You'll play a key part in our day-to-day operations, working with heavy machinery and supporting efficient waste processing. While experience is beneficial, full training will be provided for the right candidate.This position will initially be supervised but will develop into a lone-working role, so confidence and initiative are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain site machinery, including: 13T excavator with grab attachmentCounterbalance forkliftBaler equipmentLoad and unload lorries safely and efficientlyCarry out weighbridge operationsMaintain high standards of site housekeepingCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teamsWork closely with the Site SupervisorDo you have what it takes?Experience in waste, recycling, or similar industries (desirable, not essential)Strong machine operation skills (training provided)FLT licenseValid driver's licenceKey Skills & AttributesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivated, accountable, and trustworthyWilling to take ownership and use initiativeStrong communication and teamwork skillsHonest, respectful, and collaborative approachWhat's in for you?Competitive salary (based on experience) + Quarterly performance bonus6% company pension contributionFlexible benefits (access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre).Ready to make a difference?
