Location: Cambridge Area
Salary: £38,000 – £41,500 per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Are you a fully qualified Level 3 Plumber or Gas Engineer ready to use your skills to inspire the next generation of tradespeople? This is an exciting opportunity to step into the education sector as a Plumbing Trainer / Assessor with a leading training provider in the Cambridge area.
You don’t need prior teaching experience – just a strong technical background, a passion for your trade, and the drive to help others succeed. Full training and support will be provided to help you gain the relevant teaching and assessing qualifications.
The Role
1. Deliver engaging and practical training sessions to plumbing apprentices and adult learners.
2. Assess learners’ skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality progress.
3. Maintain accurate learner records and support students’ growth and achievement.
4. Work closely with colleagues to deliver an excellent training experience.
The Ideal Candidate
5. Fully qualified Level 3 Plumber / Gas Engineer.
6. Strong communication and mentoring skills.
7. Passionate about sharing industry knowledge with others.
8. Organised, approachable, and committed to high standards.
