Overview
We are looking for a New Business & Marketing Manager to help drive the agency’s growth in London through proactive new business activity, marketing initiatives, and brand positioning playing a key role in supporting Iris’ growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, managing pitch processes, and driving marketing initiatives that raise the agency’s profile.
Responsibilities
New Business & Growth
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities across key sectors with their director
* Manage the end-to-end pitch process, including research, coordination, timelines, and submission.
* Work closely with pitch teams to create pitch theatre
* Maintain and develop relationships with pitch consultants, procurement teams, and prospective clients.
* Track pipeline opportunities and report on new business performance.
Marketing & Agency Profile
* Develop and execute marketing initiatives that promote the agency’s work and culture.
* Manage case studies, thought leadership, and award submissions.
* Oversee agency communications including newsletters, website updates, and social channels.
* Support PR initiatives and collaborate with external PR partners.
* Help position Iris as a leader in integrated creativity and participation-led marketing.
Content & Brand Storytelling
* Work with strategy and creative teams to turn agency work into compelling stories.
* Create and distribute marketing materials, credentials, and pitch decks.
* Ensure the agency brand and messaging remain consistent across all touchpoints.
Required Skills
* 3+ years’ experience in agency new business, marketing, or business development.
* Experience working within creative, integrated, or digital agencies.
* Strong pitch management and project coordination skills.
* Excellent storytelling, presentation, and writing abilities.
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Passion for creativity, marketing, and agency culture.
* A strong communicator who can translate creative work into clear commercial stories.
* A collaborator who can bring teams together to win new business.
