Daniel Owen Agency are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician, to work for a Rail based contractor. This position will be working between Stansted & Chelmsford, meaning a driver's license would be preferable due to the travelling involved. To be suitable for this role, you will also require a DBS certificate.
This position will be Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30, with the potential of additional hours needing to be worked depending on the workload. Along with this, there may be a requirement for occasional weekend work too, responding to callouts as required.
Within this role, your duties will include:
1. Taking delivery of materials
2. Checking delivery notes and handing them to the foreman
3. Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on all electrical equipment on the client's asset register
4. Complete worksheets in a timely and efficient manner and submit to the head office each Friday
5. Make recommendations regarding condition of plant and submit Life Expired asset reports if necessary
6. Completing Planned Maintenance works in accordance with the client specification
7. Compile list of remedial works required after PPM visit
8. Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing costings for any remedial works
9. Other job materials and submit copy paperwork to the Head Office each Friday
10. Attend training and H&S courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager
11. In the event of an accident, report to your nominated First Aider who will be introduced to you during your site induction
12. Complete accident report forms as directed by your site foreman / Contracts Manager
