Panel Wireperson Location – Plymouth (with occasional site work) We’re looking for a skilled Panel Wireperson to join our manufacturing team in Plymouth. Working primarily from our modern facility, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality, right‑first‑time solutions for our customers. You’ll work closely with our production, manufacturing, and operations teams, gaining a strong understanding of our products and contributing to some of the UK’s most exciting MEICA projects. What you'll be doing: Ensure all work complies with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company Business Assurance systems. Work in line with the Company Business Management System, Quality Manual, and production-related procedures (including QA forms). Highlight any issues before work begins. Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly tasks following procedures, instructions, and engineering drawings. Report problems, errors, or shortages to Production Management promptly. Prepare completed equipment for testing and inspection. Attend site when needed to support installation and other activities (UK-wide travel may be required). Training or competency validation may be necessary. Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation in line with 6S principles. Ensure all tools, benches, and work equipment are kept clean, orderly, and safe. About you: NVQ Level 2/3 in an Electrical discipline (or equivalent). 18th Edition qualification (or equivalent). Valid CSCS card (desirable). Experience within industrial or utilities environments. Skilled in control panel work, instrumentation termination, and reading schematic drawings. Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings. Able to consistently meet production schedules, delivering high ‑ quality work with zero defects. Excellent understanding of workplace Health & Safety. Experience with Continuous Improvement practices. Confident communicator, both written and verbal. Positive, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to tackle technical challenges and adjust to changing priorities.
