Control Systems Engineer

Overview: Control Systems Engineers are sought to design, develop, implement and support PLC and SCADA/DCS based control systems within industrial environments. Responsibilities
* Develop and implement PLC-based control systems and configure SCADA/DCS platforms.

* Develop and self-test control system software to meet defined design specifications.
* Prepare design documentation, test plans, FAT/SAT documents, and ensure proper change control.

* Support commissioning activities and provide specialist control system assistance to commissioning teams and project managers.
* Collaborate with electrical engineers and other stakeholders to define robust control architectures and meet project milestones.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in PLC systems and SCADA/DCS platforms (examples include Siemens PCS7, Rockwell ControlLogix, Schneider EcoStruxure, WinCC, Zenon).
* Proficiency in IEC 61131 languages (ladder, function block, structured text).
* Experience with design documentation, test plans, QA standards, and hands-on commissioning.
* Willingness to travel with a full UK driving license; site-based commissioning experience is a plus.
* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience (electrical, automation, process control).
