About the Service
Our service is built on a therapeutic approach, with safety, relationships, and emotional stability at its heart. We are dedicated to creating nurturing environments where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
A bit about the role
We are seeking experienced Residential Support Workers to join our small, committed team in supporting a young person as they transition into their forever home. This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to help build a secure foundation where they can feel truly at home.
Adjusting to a new environment can be challenging, and our young person may express emotions through their behaviour. Your role will be to provide consistency, emotional support, and therapeutic guidance, helping them build trust, routines, and a sense of safety.
How you’ll help to create brighter futures
* Provide patient, calm, and consistent support in daily life
* Use trauma-informed practice and advanced de-escalation skills to manage challenging situations
* Help the young person develop independence, confidence, and resilience
* Support them in pursuing their interests and aspirations
* Contribute to creating a secure, nurturing home environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting young people with complex behavioural and emotional needs
* Confidence in working through challenging situations
* A therapeutic mindset with strong relationship-building skills
* Patience, empathy, and a calm approach under pressure
* Commitment to making a lasting difference in a young person’s life
What We Offer
* Full training and ongoing support
* A highly rewarding role where you’ll see the impact of your work every day
* The chance to be part of a dedicated, values-driven team
