Operations Manager – Retrofit/Recladding/Remediation Programmes (Bristol)
PSR Solutions is working on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead a new large-scale retrofit programme based in Bristol.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join at an early stage, helping to set up and shape the programme/region ahead of full delivery, which is expected to commence later in 2026.
The initial phase will cover six residential blocks, with strong potential for additional phases as the programme develops.
Programme Overview
* Approx. £20m per annum
* Two-phase retrofit programme
* Focus on high-rise and high-risk buildings
* Works include roofing and re-cladding
Role Responsibilities
* Overall operational management of programme
* Hiring of teams
* Setting up systems, processes, and delivery structures from the outset
* Managing programme delivery across multiple sites
* Reporting directly to the Head of Capital & Retrofit
* Ensuring compliance, quality, safety, and performance standards
Key Requirements
* Proven experience managing high-rise and high-risk building projects
* Strong background in roofing and re-cladding works
* Experience within social housing is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
