This is a development role within a busy, fast-paced transport operation.
This is perfect for someone who is ready to step up and grow into a Transport Manager position over the next 12 years.
Youll be supporting both daily operations and longer-term planning, while gaining hands-on experience in compliance, people leadership and depot management.

Whats the role?
* Support the Transport Manager with day-to-day depot operations
* Ensure vehicles and records meet all legal compliance and safety requirements
* Be a visible and supportive presence for drivers on shift
* Coach and guide the driving team in a fair and consistent way
* Assist with onboarding, training and recruitment of new drivers
* Help investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses to maintain high safety standards
* Step up to lead operations when the Transport Manager is on leave or off-site

This is a hands-on leadership role - not just office-based.
