- Retford Are you a passionate and nurturing KS1 Class Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work in Retford? Academics are working closely with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools across Retford who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to inspire and engage pupils in Key Stage 1.
Position: KS1 Class Teacher Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing Pay: £130
- £190 per day (paid via PAYE
- no umbrella company fees) Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you About the Role As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons to pupils in Years 1 and 2, supporting early literacy, numeracy and social development.
You will create a warm and structured classroom environment where children feel confident, supported and motivated to learn.
This role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking supply, long-term or temp-to-perm opportunities within Retford.
Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
* Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
* Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
* Assess and track pupil progress effectively
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and leadership teams
