Job overview Are you a Qualified Nursing Associate looking to join an innovative team with a drive for compassionate, patient-centred care? We are looking for an established or new Qualified Nursing Associate to join Willows Ward, which is a 15 bed assessment and treatment ward for older adults aged 65 and over with memory difficulties, dementia or functional mental health problems, such as depression, psychosis and other related illnesses. You will be supported within a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, activity workers and assistant practitioners. We provide a range of training and educational opportunities, clinical supervision and peer group support to help you develop in the role. Advert Be responsible for delivering high quality, patient centred compassionate care under the direction of a registered nurse with a focus on promoting health and independence Be an accountable professional Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual Carry out specific clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction of a registered nurse Have the ability to work without direct supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with the individual’s defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role, accessing clinical and care advice when needed.
