Job Description
* Cleans and sanitizes all areas in a safe, timely and skilled manner to meet Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
* Understands, utilizes, and follows all SSOP’s.
* Follow LO/TO procedures at all times.
* Must be able to work in hot or cold environments.
* Must be able to effectively communicate in English both in written and oral form.
* Must work safely at all times.
* Must behave in a professional manner at all times.
* Performs other functions as directed by Sanitation Team Lead, Sanitation Specialist, Sanitation Lead or Team Leads
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
* High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
* Experience desired but not required.
Language Skills
* Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral.
Mathematical Skills
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
Computer Skills
* Basic computer skills.
Physical Demands
* Must walk on various surfaces where water is frequently used to rinse equipment. Slick areas exist due to the presence of potato matter, starch, and grease.
* To reach some areas of the plan, team member must climb stairs and/or ladders, use man lifts, and walk on cat walks.
* Must have good hand-eye coordination.
* Must have normal finger dexterity and range of motion.
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on frequent basis.
* Must be able to push and pull heaving items on occasion.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
* Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
* Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions as well as extreme heat and cold environments
* May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic, caustic, acid based or chlorinated chemicals.
* Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) that is required but not limited to: rubber gloves, wet suit, goggles, face shields/safety glasses and steel-toed rubber boots.
* Regularly work in environment in which the noise level is usually loud.
* May be required to work from a man lift to reach elevated areas for sanitation.
* May be required to work in a confined space.
