About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Learning Development Manager to join our team. This is a key opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual who is keen to support the delivery of our current curriculum and wider L&D initiatives, as well as helping shape the L&D strategy of the future.
This role reports to the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM) and requires strong relationship skills with the ability to work with varied stakeholders, influence agendas, problem solve and drive forward activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing impactful, innovative content that meets learner needs and delivers clear business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing Content: Develop impactful, innovative content that meets learner needs and delivers clear business outcomes.
* Reviewing Content: Review content written by other members of the Learning Development team to maintain quality control and ensure learning objectives have been met.
* Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the Business Partner and Learning Implementation Lead, as well as wider Business Partnering and Learning Implementation teams to understand learning needs for specific training and translate those needs into learning objectives and content.
* Leadership: Lead on a portfolio of programmes/learning interventions and support broader activities across the Learning Development team, including reviews of content developed by other authors/design secondees, coaching and upskilling of junior members, driving forward team-wide workstreams and supporting key initiatives.
Requirements
* Experience: Experienced Manager/Senior Manager with a background in programme development, both non-technical and audit-technical course content.
* Skills: Strong relationship skills, ability to work with varied stakeholders, influence agendas, problem solve and drive forward activities. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* L&D Qualifications: Formal L&D qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential, subject to proven experience of authoring and reviewing programme content.
