Residential and Edge of Care Worker | 9146 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | Dereham.
Responsibilities
 * Undertake a keyworker role with residents, ensuring that the young person’s views and wishes are sought and acted upon and maintain the relationship through key transitions.
 * Contribute to the care planning process by participating in statutory reviews, planning meetings and progress meetings as required.
 * Undertake ‘sleep‑in’ duties on a rota basis.
 * Provide outreach support for young people and families.
Qualifications
 * Good level of literacy and numeracy.
 * A willingness to undertake relevant training courses.
 * Ability to form effective relationships with children.
 * Passion to support young people, good listening skills, patience, understanding and desire to support positive outcomes.
 * NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, to be completed successfully within 18 months of appointment.
