Elementa Support Services is seeking a passionate and experienced A-level Music Teacher to join our client, a Secondary School that is part of a larger multi-academy trust, based in the Thornbury area. This role is perfect for an individual who is dedicated to fostering a love for music while providing high-quality education to students.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver innovative and engaging A-level music lessons that encourage student participation and progress.
* Assess and monitor students' performance, providing constructive feedback to promote their musical development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum, ensuring it is inclusive and reflective of diverse musical traditions.
* Support students in their musical aspirations, preparing them for examinations and performances.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) is essential.
* Experience teaching A-level music, with an in-depth understanding of the curriculum.
* A strong background in music, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
