️ What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of your own client portfolio while working alongside senior colleagues on a range of business rates matters, including:
* Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies.
* Inspecting and valuing commercial properties for rating purposes.
* Negotiating with the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities.
* Attending client meetings and contributing to business development.
What We're Looking For
* MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification.
* Experience in business rates valuation (private sector or VOA backgrounds welcome).
* Solid understanding of rating legislation and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process.
* Strong communication and client relationship skills.
* Commercially aware, proactive, and a team player.
