About Our Client
My client is currently recruiting for a new Credit Controller based in Lingfield.
Job Description
3. To liaise with Local Authority and CCGs as well as Business Development Team to ascertain correct contact details and invoicing arrangements including fee splits between different funding bodies
4. To closely monitor/manage Young Epilepsy's outstanding debt with a view to minimising debt which is greater than the payment terms of 30 days from invoice date
5. To issue invoices in an accurate and timely manner to Local Authorities, CCGs according to agreed timeframes, (termly, monthly, ad hoc) using mail/email/portal as required for Young Epilepsy's School, now with VAT, & College and Assessment fees
6. To issue miscellaneous invoices for Young Epilepsy departments
7. To arrange any refunds, credits, adjustments as required. This includes recalculating students' fees as a result of changes to placements
8. To prepare and regularly maintain the annual Finance Masterfile spreadsheet which lists all students and their fees for billing purposes
9. To run the monthly Sales Ledger close on NetSuite and run appropriate reports for Senior Management
10. To provide fee related data including income forecasts for reporting purposes by Senior Management including Trust Board meetings
11. To ensure the debt figures are accurate and up-to-date by allocating all fee receipts to appropriate accounts on finance system (daily).
12. To provide monthly debt related data for reporting purposes by Senior Management including for Trust Board meetings
The Successful Applicant
13. May be starting towards an Accountancy qualification
14. May have previous experience as a Credit Controller
15. Strong Excel skills
