Due to a promotion, they are now seeking an Electrical Controls Supervisor with good experience across controls, maintenance, projects and leading a team of Electrical Engineers, who cover planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, project work and improvements.
As an Electrical Controls Supervisor, you will manage and supervise day and shift electrical engineers as well as sub-contractors in the safest and most efficient way possible.
Using the Engineering departments CMMS, you will ensure that all plant & equipment is serviced in accordance with the PPM schedules and process plant downtime is kept to a minimum through proactive maintenance.
Within this role your usual place of work will be split between process plant/site and desk/office 80/20; however, this can change due to the performance of the assets as your technical support maybe needed elsewhere.
Responsibilities Working Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, with 1 in every 3 weeks being on call.
Day to day management of the team in providing front line maintenance support to site in line with current EH & S legal obligations and guideline.
Supervise and/or carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance on all electrical aspects of the process plant in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain accurately and effectively all necessary files/records, including the update of the Engineering departments CMMS to be always audit ready The ability to work well independently, with minimum supervision Positive, can so work ethic, with an ability to challenge the current status quo and wanting to go the extra mile to deliver a meaningful difference.
Ability to successfully lead a team When on call you would be required to provide technical backup to PLC support Requirements A HNC or above in Electrical Engineering.
Excellent understanding of current Electrical Engineering regulations & guidance.
Experience of programming PLCs and understanding the controls logic side 18th Edition qualified Supervisory experience dealing with the control and management of personnel in a maintenance environment including contract labour is desirable. xxuwjjq
