Overview
Physiotherapy Service Lead - Band 8a - GH. NHS Scotland invites applications for a full-time Lead Physiotherapist in Unscheduled Care. The post offers an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist with operational management skills to develop leadership and strategic management in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate and effective leadership to the Physiotherapy Teams in community rehabilitation and intermediate care.
* Support the Physiotherapy Teams in unscheduled care, contributing to decision-making for improved patient care and service provision.
* Promote data‑driven improvements to influence decisions about patient care and service provision.
* Work collaboratively across services and third sector organisations; contribute to organisational decision-making and service transformation as part of a whole system approach.
* Supervise and mentor staff; provide supervision and mentoring as part of team development.
* Support workforce wellbeing and patient safety as core responsibilities.
* Engage with clinical placements for physiotherapy students and participate in service redesign following organisational reviews of Unscheduled Care, Scheduled Care and Primary Care Physiotherapy services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience as a Physiotherapist with operational management skills and a track record of leadership in both community and hospital settings.
* Strong communication and decision‑making skills; ability to manage complex clinical situations.
* Commitment to patient safety, staff wellbeing, supervision and mentoring.
* Interest in data‑driven improvements and ability to influence patient care and service provision.
