The Role: As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will work closely with students, families, and school staff to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Assist with managing attendance and punctuality issues. Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required. Support the implementation of pastoral policies and interventions. Promote a positive and inclusive school environment. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in an educational, social work, or youth support setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work empathetically and confidentially with students and families. Organised and able to manage caseloads effectively. DBS clearance (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).
