Team Leader (MLS – Nurses)
Location: Southport/ Manchester/ Leeds/ Liverpool/ Hybrid
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Purpose of role:
To manage and be part of a small team of nurses who provide an assessment on the merits of a potential case depending on the initial information provided, advise on which medical records and additional documents are required to further determine the case prospects. In addition, the team will also complete a detailed review of the records, pagination, and chronology and on occasion decide on the merits of the case.

Main Responsibilities for the role:
13. Managing a small team of nurse analysts to ensure SLA’s and input KPI’s are met
14. Reporting to the Nurse Manager and HoD in respect of team performance
15. Completing weekly 1-1’s of those in the team as well as yearly performance reviews
16. Undertake File Reviews and liaise with the QA to monitor standards
17. Identification of any training and development needs within team
18. Ability to adapt to a managing role alongside the continuation of the nurse analyst role
19. Good understanding of auditing and reporting tools including powerbi
20. Promoting and assisting with implementation of evolving AI tools across the team
The ideal candidate will have:
21. Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification clinical experience in NHS practice / clinical setting
22. Minimum of 2 years’ as a nurse analyst
23. Ability to adapt to a managerial role within a fast growing team, including use of auditing and reporting tools
24. Excellent communication skills
25. Ability to drive and support a diverse team in accordance with KPI’s
26. Ability to manage the team in accordance with HR policies
27. Ability to work within a team both remotely and in person
28. Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive
29. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
30. Ability to work efficiently with the QA and Manager
31. Positive attitude to change
32. Ability to positively deliver constructive feedback and updating of business developments
33. Experience lead progression towards completing RA1s.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
34. Ability to interpret and drive a team using data, including powerbi
