A leading technology consultancy is looking for an RF Systems Lead to take on a high-impact, senior technical director or associate director level role. About the Role
This position is ideal for an expert in RF systems who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment. As an RF Systems Lead, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence across client projects, ensuring innovative and high-performance RF solutions. This is not a line management role - your focus will be purely on solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with internal teams, and engaging with clients at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical authority for RF systems across diverse projects.
* Provide expertise in RF design, system architecture, and integration, with a strong understanding of 3GPP standards.
* Influence internal stakeholders and gain buy-in for technical decisions.
* Contribute to business development through technical leadership.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including DSP, communications, and wireless technologies.
* Engage with clients, presenting and delivering high-impact RF solutions aligned with industry standards.
What We're Looking For
* Deep expertise in RF systems—someone who can confidently operate as a go-to authority.
* Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge (RF, DSP, communications) is a plus.
* A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a passion for cutting-edge technology.
* The ability to engage both internally and externally to drive projects forward.
* A minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience (flexible for exceptional candidates).
Salary & Benefits
* If considered at Director Level: Up to £140k base + 33% bonus
* If considered at Associate Director Level: Up to £110k base + 20% bonus
* Relocation package available (covering 25% of first-year earnings for those moving within range).
* Visa sponsorship available if required.
* Hybrid working: 3 days onsite preferred.
