Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance with company health and safety policies at all times.
* Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
* Work with mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, drives, belts, pumps, and gearboxes.
* Fault find, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
* Support the installation of new equipment and continuous improvement projects.
* Complete accurate maintenance records, ensuring all procedures are followed.
* Provide emergency mechanical assistance when required.
* Collaborate with colleagues across engineering and production to achieve targets.
About You
* Proven background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and fault-finding techniques.
* Time-served apprenticeship or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications.
* Familiarity with servo drives (desirable but not essential).
* Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
* Team player with the flexibility to adapt to operational needs.
