Duties & Role
* Distribution Center Management - GCF: Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations; maintains item and inventory management records; helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs; uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed; assists in resolving issues related to physical space management.
* Inventory Management - GCF: Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location; produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile inventory balances; tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location; works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location; follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.
* Logistics Management - GCF: Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance; works with logistics in a domestic environment; maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system; assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity; participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks.
* Supply Chain Management - GCF: Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain; participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities; discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions; summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products; works with a specific part of the supply chain management process.
* Warehouse Management - GCF: Analyzes and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area; assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution centre; collects and translates business requirements for specifications of warehouse management systems; performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise; maintains warehouse equipment and facilities on a regular basis.
Requirements
* The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
* Higher vocational training or secondary education
* 1-3 years\' experience in Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as ERP Oracle-based systems
* Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling
