Responsibilities
You’ll be a key part of the home’s leadership team, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure clinical excellence, lead by example on the floor, and provide mentorship and support to our team of dedicated carers and nurses.
You’ll balance your time between delivering hands-on care and overseeing the clinical governance of the home. This includes auditing care plans, supporting with training, liaising with external professionals, and stepping in during emergencies, always keeping residents’ wellbeing as the top priority. You’ll also build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues to create a warm, open culture where people feel heard, respected and supported.

This role is ideal for a nurse-qualified leader (RGN / RMN) who’s ready to step into a broader leadership position. You might be a Senior Nurse looking for the next step, or an existing Deputy Manager seeking a service where you can make a bigger impact.
