Salary: £14,022.13 - £14,733.88
Hours: 19.5 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year
We are seeking a motivated and positive individual to join our team at Castle Douglas Swimming Pool.
As a Senior Leisure Attendant, your responsibilities will include ensuring our customers have excellent experiences using our facilities. You will utilize your people skills and supervisory experience to motivate and lead staff to deliver high-quality leisure services as part of the Lifelong Learning and Wellbeing team.
Your duties will involve shift control, lifeguard rotations and supervision, completing operational check sheets, liaising with customers, and assisting in the smooth operation of the facility.
You will also work with your team to promote customer engagement with other services, activities, and promotions available within our facilities.
The role requires working evenings and weekends.
Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and supervisory experience.
Desirable qualifications include a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Pool Plant Operators Certificate, and First Aid at Work Certificate.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before employment can be confirmed.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence.
Successful candidates must be flexible regarding working hours to meet the needs of the service.
