Your Role at Husqvarna UK
National Account Manager reporting to the channel Sales Manager, the main purpose of this role if to drive profitable growth in UK DIY and other specified retail accounts in the Gardena Division.
This individual will have a hunger and passion with a proactive approach to closing deals and securing profitable long term business.
The role requires that KPI’s be achieved and the individual be able to work in a fast paced area.
Keys Activities:
Account Management & Business Growth
* Own and develop the strategic account plans for B&Q and Screwfix
* Deliver revenue, margin and share growth targets across categories
* Lead long-term Joint Business Planning (JBP), range reviews, promotional activity and seasonal planning
* Build collaborative, long-term relationships with buyers and key contacts
New Business & Channel Expansion
* Identify and unlock new listings, spaces, and range opportunities
* Spot and act on space gaps, new formats, and digital selling improvements Influence the customer to expand footprint across store and online platforms
Commercial Ownership
* Lead all pricing negotiations, promotions, and trade terms under guidance and alignment of Channel manager
* Manage volume forecasts in close coordination with demand planning and supply chain
* Monitor EPOS, stock inventory, and promotional performance to identify course corrections
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Act as the key customer voice internally, working with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams
* Deliver strong launch plans for NPD and category innovation
* Support annual planning and budget alignment processes
What We’re Looking for
* Proven experience in a NAM or KAM role within consumer durables, home & garden, or DIY sectors
* Track record of managing UK national retailers – ideally B&Q, Screwfix, or similar
* Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility
* Skilled in negotiation, data analysis, promotional planning
* Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and stakeholder management strength
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented
