Role: As a Tax Paralegal, you will provide vital support to our Tax team, ensuring the smooth handling of cases and efficient delivery of client services.
Key Responsibilities
* Case Management: Assisting in the preparation of tax advice for corporate and private clients; managing and maintaining client files; assisting with the drafting of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
* Research and Analysis: Conducting legal and factual research on tax legislation, case law, and regulatory developments; supporting the team in providing detailed, up-to-date advice on tax planning and compliance.
* Administrative Support: Coordinating with clients and other departments to gather necessary documentation and information; assisting with billing, time recording, and other administrative tasks as needed.
* Client Engagement: Supporting fee earners in delivering high-quality service to clients; ensuring prompt responses to client queries and managing communication efficiently.
* Project Work: Assisting on transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and real estate deals, by providing tax-related support; working on tax disclosure statements and compliance documentation.

Technical Knowledge
* Proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications to organise tasks, manage time effectively and support collaborative working (essential). (A/I)
