£33,366 to £35,235 per annum (FY 25/26 pay award pending)
37 hours per week
This is a full-time position, however we welcome applications from those who wish to work part-time or job share.

We are looking for a new Content Designer to be a voice of the user and enhance Teignbridge District Council’s online presence in creating content for the website with a focus on the customer journey and experience. You will collaborate with Digital Communications officers, customer service teams and departments across the council to create, adapt, and publish web content.
You will have significant experience as a web content writer, preferably in a public sector or similar environment, experience of public consultation and stakeholder engagement, and be proficient in using content management systems, web analytics tools and HTML. You will ideally have a communications qualification.

You are a Teignbridge District Council fit if you have:
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

* Familiarity with local government terminology with the ability to translate this into plain English.
